It's time we hold ourselves to a higher standard. One that we are looking for in our leaders. The minute we do, bold words like the ones you point out will generate hope, change and votes. We won't succumb to politics as usual and the slanderous, manipulative campaigns of the Swift Boat Veterans and MoveOn will simply be a waste of dollars. They won't move the needle. Hope will.
